Vancouver-based Ximen Mining Corp has shared results from its drilling program at the Amelia Gold project in Camp McKinney, southern British Columbia. The program was carried out to test the extension of the historic Cariboo-Amelia gold mine. The drilling was completed last year, and core sampling and analyses were conducted this year. Eight drill holes were completed for a total of 2,064 meters. The target vein was intersected in five holes. The best result was from hole AM23-03, which intersected 16.3 grams of gold per tonne and 79.9 grams of silver per tonne.

Ximen Mining Corp. has completed its drill program at the Brett epithermal gold project in southern British Columbia, with the eighth hole drilled to test the extent of the West Zone alteration zone. The drilling intersected volcanic rocks, including basalt and ash, and an oxidized leached zone of argillic alteration was found from 4.5 meters to 8.3 meters depth. Multiple zones of intense clay-silica alteration with clay-gouge faults and silica-pyrite mineralization were also intersected. The findings suggest a highly altered volcanic breccia.

Ximen Mining Corp. has announced the completion of hole 6 in its active drill program at the Brett epithermal gold project in Vernon, southern BC. The drilling was carried out from the same collar and azimuth as hole 5, but steeper at -65 degrees to intersect the West Zone breccia. The hole was drilled to test the mineralized breccia intersected in hole 5. The results show a zone of argillic alteration with iron oxide, which is devoid of sulfide mineralization due to oxidation. Ximen Mining Corp: Brett Epithermal Gold Project Drilling Hole 5
Ximen Mining Corp. has announced the completion of the 5th hole in its drill program at the Brett epithermal gold project near Vernon in southern BC. The hole B24-05 was drilled at a 45-degree inclination to the northeast to test the Border Zone, an alteration zone west of the Main Zone. The drill intersected multiple altered and mineralized zones and three porphyry dikes. The findings include a sulphide zone, five clay-pyrite mineralized zones, and a quartz vein breccia. These results further correlate with their targeted exploration areas.
