Calgary, Alberta--(Newsfile Corp. - August 5, 2025) - Canadian Critical Minerals Inc. (TSXV: CCMI) (OTCQB: RIINF) ("CCMI" or the "Company") is deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of David W. Johnston, founder of Braveheart Resources (now Canadian Critical Minerals Inc.).
David was a true pioneer in the Canadian mining industry and an active member of the Calgary business community for many years. A former miner with Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting, David went on to become a successful entrepreneur, launching Capital Benefits Corp. over 25 years ago and guiding it to long standing success.
As founder of Braveheart Resources, David was a driving force behind assembling the company's core mining assets, laying the foundation for much of the company's current work. He also served as a director of the Chamber of Mines for Eastern British Columbia and remained passionate about both business and community service throughout his life.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues during this difficult time.
